The Shop

Old-school standards. Modern fades.

Justin Balint opened Justin's Fades in 2016 after six years on the chair. He learned the craft the right way — John Wesley International Barber College, traditional techniques, a real apprenticeship. That same standard runs the shop today: hot-towel face and head shaves, scissor work, fades you can see your reflection in.

The shop runs on relationships. Walk in once and Justin remembers what you got last time. That's the difference.

My name is Gabriel, but most people know me as G the Barber. I've been cutting hair since 2010 and I'm proud to be Long Beach born and raised. I got into barbering because I love helping people feel confident and look their best. Precision lineups, beard trims, burst fades, and taper fades are what I'm most passionate about. I take pride in every cut and always aim for perfection and attention to detail.

Frank is a native from the city of Angels. Born and raised in North Hollywood, his background in hair comes from his mother, a seasoned cosmetologist. Considered a second-generation hair specialist, Frank's haircutting style puts an emphasis on scissor work and smooth razor shaves. Blending and blurring the lines between a barber and cosmetologist, Frank's style personifies attention to detail and the pursuit of perfect hair for each individual that sits in his chair. Men, women, and children all are welcomed and respected when you sit in Frank's chair.
